Posted: 5th November 2025

The Safeguarding and Child Protection Association (SACPA) is proud to announce the winners of the Annual Safeguarding Awards 2025, revealed from a shortlist of fifteen finalists on November 5 during the Annual Safeguarding Conference at Broadway House, London.

Now in its fourth year, SACPA’s annual awards celebrate outstanding individuals, teams, and organisations who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, innovation, and leadership in safeguarding and child protection across the UK and beyond.

This year welcomed a record number of very strong entries across all four categories. This welcome growth of popularity for the awards is reflective of increasing recognition of safeguarding as a vital component of organisational culture and practice.

“Each of our winners embodies the highest standards of safeguarding practice,” said Director, SACPA, Mariya Ali. “Their work makes a tangible difference in protecting children, young people, and vulnerable adults every day and it is a great pleasure to celebrate and recognise their ongoing commitment today. We are delighted to shine a spotlight on the brilliant work making a meaningful impact in the safeguarding space.”

The Annual Safeguarding Conference, where the awards were announced, is a fantastic collaborative opportunity for safeguarding professionals across multiple sectors. A line up of highly regarded experts led an insightful programme uncovering emerging safeguarding risks, lessons from key national inquiries, and practical strategies for strengthening safeguarding practice. Through expert-led sessions, case studies, and interactive discussions, delegates explored resilience, compliance, youth engagement, and the challenges of digital safeguarding.

The event welcomed safeguarding leads from a wonderfully broad range of sectors including BSA member schools, Busy Bees Day Nurseries, Chelsea and Liverpool Football Club and charities including The Salvation Army, National Volunteer Police Cadets and Yes We Can Youth Clinics to name a few.

The awards proved a fitting conclusion to a successful conference, held in person for the first time. Thank you to all those who took the time to enter this year’s awards and congratulations once again to our deserving finalists and winners.

SACPA’s Annual Safeguarding Conference and Awards provide a platform for professionals to share insights, celebrate best practice, and advance the safeguarding agenda across education, charity, sport, and public sectors and we look forward to seeing this grow further in years to come.
