Sacpa webinar: Responding to issues of peer-on-peer abuse

18th May 2021 @ 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Jointly organised with Farrer & Co, this webinar will consider peer-on-peer abuse in the boarding, or residential, environment and how to respond. Peer-on-peer abuse is a major safeguarding concern where support and action is required for all parties involved. The residential environment poses a unique setting where the response needs to be particularly sensitively managed by those supporting.

Audience:

This webinar is suitable for practitioners working with boarding students and in residential care/accommodation settings.

After her internship she continued to work there for almost two years. Shortly before joining Farrers, Sophia spent three months working pro-bono for a team of criminal defence lawyers in Louisiana, representing indigent defendants facing the death penalty.
