From overnight trips to PE days, school life doesn’t pause for periods. Yet for many girls, their first few years of menstruation are marked by confusion, leaks, and silence. That’s where a new free webinar —First Period and Beyond—is stepping in to offer support, clarity and confidence.
Created by the team behind La Suzy, the reusable period bed mat now quietly adopted in some of the UK’s top boarding and day schools, this 30-minute session gives girls the real tools they need.
Through a warm, accessible online format, the session covers:
- What periods are and how they may begin
- Learning the body’s signs and rhythms
- How to handle a period during school, trips or sports
- Managing cramps, leaks and awkward moments
- Understanding period products—including eco-friendly options
- Feeling confident with your body and cycle
Whether girls are boarders or day students, this webinar helps them feel more in control—so periods don’t disrupt sleep, learning or life. Webinars will be run in the evening encouraging students to attend with their parents/family/guardians.
