Rise in violent crime among younger children

A growing share of violent crime suspects in London are children aged 10 to 14, outpacing other youth age groups, according to a new report. Met Police data shows that in 2023, 7,512 children in this age bracket were suspected of violent offences, including knife-related crimes — a 38% increase compared to 2020. Read the full article here.
