Who are we?

We are the Diocese of Salisbury, a Christian-based charity committed to promoting the work and purpose of the Church of England across the communities of mainly Dorset and Wiltshire.   We serve almost 1 million people of all ages and walks of life through our 573 churches, 194 church schools and 20 multi-academy trusts.

What would you be doing?

You will provide effective day to day administration management and support for the Safeguarding Team with responsibility for the DBS verification processes, minuting and servicing safeguarding panel meetings and management of the team inbox and team communications.

What skills and experience will you need?  

We are looking for someone with relevant experience from a safeguarding or related background who is happy working with complex administrative and compliance processes. We would like you to have good organisation skills, be proactive and great at communication with a wide range of stakeholders. An inquiring mind with a willingness to learn new processes and proactively implement changes is important, as well as a good (intermediate or above) level of IT literacy.
