Academics are seeking to appoint a School Safeguarding Officer on a rolling contract basis at a school in the Silvertown area. Relevant experience of working as a safeguarding officer is essential for this role. Salary for this role is £30,856 Per Annum FTE and the school wishes to interview within the next 2 weeks.

Graded Outstanding by Ofsted in their latest inspection situated in the Silvertown area are seeking to appoint a Safeguarding Officer to start ASAP due to a last minute resignation. The school has wonderful KS2 results, this is accredited to the fact that “Pupils achieve so well because of the outstanding quality of teaching over time. Teaching is highly imaginative, tailored to the needs of all the pupils”. The school are looking to appoint on a flexible basis as long you can commit to a minimum of 3 days per week, term time only.
About the Role:
The school is looking for an outstanding practitioner to join our Inclusion team as the Safeguarding Officer. You will work under the direction of the Senior Leadership team to ensure the welfare and wellbeing of all students. You will have experience working with vulnerable students and a strong knowledge and application of current safeguarding practices and procedures.
