Safeguarding in the Catholic Church is currently implementing new structures across England and Wales. The Diocese of Nottingham are developing a new safeguarding team to ensure safeguarding across the Diocese is embedded, and to offer a supportive service to parishes, clergy, volunteers and employees.
We are a small team and currently recruiting for a Safeguarding Officer. The Safeguarding role would suit a professional from an offender manager background with experience of investigating safeguarding incidents and casework, although other safeguarding professionals would be considered.
