This is an excellent opportunity for an exciting and varied role in a committed, collaborative and warm pastoral team.

The Safeguarding Officer will promote the welfare and safety of pupils by training pupils, staff and parents in safeguarding matters. As a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead they will liaise with external agencies and lead on the management and progress of pupils of safeguarding concern.

The successful candidate will have expertise in safeguarding, child protection and related areas, and may come from a an educational, police or social care background. You should have an appropriate qualification and/or extensive experience in safeguarding child welfare.

This is a term time plus 15 day role, working full-time on site.
