Job Summary:
Safeguarding is a priority for the churches within the Herts and Essex Border Ecumenical Area and the Chelmsford Methodist Circuit. We need a knowledgeable and experienced safeguarding enthusiast with a passion for maintaining safe spaces within our churches and associated activities. You will administer and lead on the delivery of all aspects of Safeguarding policy, practice, and record keeping. Your knowledge of safeguarding policy and procedure are essential as you work closely with the Circuit leaders, Church Safeguarding Officers and the District Safeguarding Officer. Recent experience is essential as you deliver training, upgrade and maintain confidential records, and enable our churches to deliver a high standard of safeguarding. You will work flexibly both in the delivery of your working hours and the location of your work so you will need your own transport. Applicants will need to reside either in the Herts and Essex Border Ecumenical Area or in the Chelmsford Circuit.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 14 per week
