Safeguarding Officer | Hounslow
We are recruiting a Safeguarding Officer for a fantastic school in Hounslow!
The Safeguarding officer will be tasked with supporting the Safeguarding Team with safeguarding and child protection across the school. You will help support other members of staff on welfare and child protection matters.
As a member of the safeguarding team, you will be responsible for the provision of safeguarding and addressing the needs of young people who require help to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside of school, in order to achieve their full potential.
Safeguarding Officer Role:
- Salary £25,000-£30,000 per annum depending on experience.
- Assisting with all operational aspects of safeguarding in the school.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and practices, as well as child protection and safeguarding legislation and guidance.
- Must be willing to complete an enhanced DBS.
Safeguarding Officer Requirements:
- Relevant professional experience of safeguarding experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Professional safeguarding qualifications and qualities.
- Understanding of KCSIE and ISI regulations
