This is a senior leadership role to support our Trust in enhancing our Think Family approach to safeguarding.

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional with a passion for safeguarding adults and children to lead our committed and highly motivated safeguarding teams. As the lead professional you will work to provide strong leadership to the team and to the organisation ensuring we deliver on key priorities. This role reports directly to the Director of Nursing, Therapies and Quality.

A key component of the role will be to promote and safeguard the welfare of adults and children at risk of harm and ensure safeguarding is an integral part of practice for all our staff. We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate the ability and drive necessary to cohesively work in an integrated safeguarding team, Think Family and work across Trust in-patient and community services to achieve the best outcomes for patients, relatives, carers and staff.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £44 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.
