Safeguarding Co- Ordinator

Job description

24 days holiday entitlement, rising to 31 after 5 years’ service

Hybrid Home Working with a base in Neath Annexe

We are currently looking for a Safeguarding Co-ordinator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with adults at risk and may be exposed with abusive situations that requires investigation.

Handling multi-agency assignments and have the ability to chair meetings and coordinate a response to high risk and complex cases.

You will need a knowledge of the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014, and the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards along with a thorough understanding of community care and relevant legislation as it applies to Adult Services.

Applicants will need to be qualified to degree level or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline and have relevant experience as post qualification in social care field as professional practitioner.
