Job Description

Act as one of the main points of contact into the Safeguarding Children Team which is based two sites in the community and hospital. The post holder will be responsible for responding to enquiries and communicating with internal services and external agencies to maximize the efficiency of the Safeguarding Children Team. Internal and external services/agencies include but not confined to: Paediatrics, Maternity, Health Visiting, and Community Health Care professionals; the City of London and London Borough of Hackney Children Social Care.

The post holder will primarily provide general administrative support to the Safeguarding Children team and Primary Care MARAC Liaison Service Nurse. This includes supporting the development and management of information, databases, correspondence and reports.

The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring information relevant to the service is disseminated efficiently and in a timely manner to the appropriate agencies. The postholder will be expected to provide cover across the community and hospital site as determined by service needs.
