West London College is looking for a Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer to join its Student Services Department. The appointed candidate will be reporting to the Director of Student Services and Safeguarding and working closely with the Student Services team in promoting the importance of Safeguarding and Prevent for all our learners and members of staff at West London College. The ideal candidate will be experienced in identifying, referring and leading on any safeguarding concerns as well as ensuring safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to. They will be confident in maintaining professional partnerships with external agencies such as social services, police and health and voluntary providers. They will also have a solid understanding and experience of collating and recording casework, identifying risks, delivering on strategies and creating reports to support safeguarding practice. The role involves the handling of sensitive information therefore the ideal candidate is required to maintain confidentiality and high standards of professionalism at all times.
