Grade H -SCP 27-31. £31,894 – £35,336- pro rata

37 hours per week, term time only – plus 10 days

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the post of Safeguarding and Early Help Lead in our school.

The successful candidate will take a lead role in school, taking responsibility for leading effective safeguarding and providing effective support for young people and their families.

This role will include responding to the day to day safeguarding issues that arise in addition to providing the strategic lead in ensuring that there is a continued robust and effective safeguarding provision throughout our school. They will work with families who are experiencing difficulties and who require the support of external agencies in order to thrive.

The Safeguarding and Early help Lead will also take responsibility for the Looked after Children in our school, ensuring that their personal, emotional and academic needs are prioritised.

You will be joining a large, highly motivated team who are focused on ensuring the best possible outcomes for students irrespective of their starting points or background.

Experience of working with other agencies and within an education or social care setting is essential.
