Malaria Consortium (MC) is recruiting for a Safeguarding Advisor to join our team in London.
The post holder will be responsible for safeguarding management and organisation-level delivery of the safeguarding strategy. The post holder is responsible for overseeing safeguarding training and ensuring that the MC workforce and partners are trained appropriately. They are also responsible for ensuring that safeguarding due diligence processes are followed with partners.
The successful candidate will have:
– Postgraduate degree in a development related field or social sciences
– Experience of safeguarding and protection work for a public body or voluntary organisation for both children and adults in vulnerable circumstances
– Track record of providing effective safeguarding advice and guidance
– Up to date knowledge of the latest legislation and best practice in relation to safeguarding and protecting children and adults
– Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding as it relates to an organisation operating globally and working directly with beneficiaries
– Experience of contributing to policy and procedure documents
– An ability to work in a complex, international /national organisation
– The Right to Work in the UK
