An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic practitioner with safeguarding experience to join our integrated Safeguarding Team, working full time within the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust.

The integrated Safeguarding team is made up of all the professionals working to safeguard adults and children, the Paediatric Liaison Nurse, Child Death Lead Nurse and Learning Disability nurses.

The post holder will support the team in progressing the safeguarding agenda within TRFT, including promoting the TRFT Think Family principles when contributing to the improvement of safeguarding systems and processes, the development of policies, procedures and guidance, delivering safeguarding training and supervision and providing support and advice to colleagues across the Trust.

The post holder will have line management of the Safeguarding Nurse Practitioner and in addition will develop close links with the Child Death Review Lead Nurse to support the established key-worker arrangements.

The successful candidate should have previous experience of working with children and families where there have been safeguarding concerns. They should also be able to work in complex and challenging environments and be able to work independently at times.
