We are recruiting a full time Safeguarding Advisor to support our Safeguarding team, and to offer advice and guidance to our network of Designated Safeguarding Leads and other Scope colleagues.
Due to the nature of this role, a enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required.

The Role
Our work is busy and requires attention to detail: this role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with a variety of teams, has an interest in data, and is enthusiastic about supporting others.
You will be:
- Ensuring adult and child related Safeguarding concerns are managed correctly
- Supporting the implementation of the Safeguarding Strategy and operational activity
- Providing advice and guidance to Scope colleagues from across the organisation
- Reviewing and analysing Safeguarding data
- And supporting the coordination of Safeguarding training
About you
You will have extensive experience in safeguarding adults and children and have a real passion for the wellbeing of others. You’ll be a self-starter, with great organisation and time management skills. You’ll be able to work as part of a team and also on your own. We’re looking for you to bring a comprehensive understanding of UK child and adult Safeguarding legislation and best practice, with an ability to apply that knowledge to our customers, colleagues and members of the public appropriately.
