Job Description

This exciting opportunity is for an enthusiastic NMC or HCPC Registered individual with extensive experience of safeguarding adults and the Mental Capacity Act to join the corporate safeguarding adult team in a specialist lead role.
You will have a central and highly visible role in supporting our clinical teams to achieve best practice safeguarding adult and Mental Capacity Act standards across our regulated services, as well as developing local systems, processes and delivery of training.
The post also provides the opportunity to work with a broad range of professionals and partnership agencies within a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency context. You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to accurately interpret complex information and a real passion to promote human rights values in your day to day work and across our services.

The post is for 30 hours per week and based at Torbay Hospital, but will also cover our regulated services across Torbay and South Devon.
