Term time only (TTO) (39 weeks per year)

Oak Lodge School is a leading provider of education for D/deaf and SCLN children with complex needs aged 10 – 19 years. We are constantly building and growing our provision and an opportunity to join our skilled and highly motivated team supporting the Head of Safeguarding as an Administrative Support Assistant has become available.

We are looking for an administrator to assist the Head of Safeguarding in providing administrative support for safeguarding processes and procedures. The post holder will provide effective and efficient support for key meetings ensuring that key safeguarding deadlines are met both effectively and accurately. The postholder will need to be able to learn new processes and procedures quickly and effectively.

Our ideal candidate will be a graduate with knowledge of current safeguarding policy and practice. The postholder will also need to have high expectations, a calm approach and a particular awareness for the need for confidentiality around safeguarding matters. The postholder will also be required to minute meetings when required.

High levels of confidentiality and resilience in handling emotionally challenging situations are essential.
