Project Worker – Safeguarding in Sport
Edinburgh/Glasgow

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-quality service providing support to Scottish governing bodies of sport so that children and young people can stay safe and have fun in sport. This service works nationally, and you will be engaged in providing aspects of support, training, information, and advice to Scottish governing bodies of sport and sports clubs across Scotland.

What kind of person will make a great Project Worker for Safeguarding in Sport?

  • is passionate about children’s rights
  • has an excellent understanding of child wellbeing and protection
  • has experience of working or volunteering in sport
  • is a strong communicator who enjoys helping others

If you have the above and are an experienced professional with a Social Work, Community work, Counselling, or other appropriate qualification, we want to hear from you.

Further Information

This is a fixed term, part time role of 28 hours per week, funded initially until 31 March 2022. The successful candidate can be based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.
