A fantastic and exciting opportunity is available within Bridgend Children’s Social Care to provide operational management leadership and support to our safeguarding locality teams.

We are looking to appoint a driven and inspiring individual who, as a team player will be committed to quality, innovation, transformation and partnership working.

You will role model adaptive leadership approaches to ensure a clear, inclusive and engaged approach across all of Children’s Social Care to strengthen the involvement of service users, carers, local communities and key stakeholders. You will enable and participate in conversations to ensure planning to design and deliver services with and for children and families focus on outcomes.

You will evidence the ability to ensure children are protected from harm and support the locality safeguarding hubs in making robust, evidenced based decisions leading to high-quality support for children and families.

You will ensure the highest standards of operational leadership and management. You will display a highly developed collaborative and compassionate leadership style, being values based in your approach to lead safe and effective care for the children and families in Bridgend with the ability to influence and drive innovation and transformational change.

Bridgend has recently launched the Signs of safety practice model and as such you will receive full training in how to use this model of working.
