We are recruiting for 4 On Call Responders to join our Team within Glasgow City.


SOL Connect provide people with an affordable route to independent living through the very latest technology.


We increase the quality of a person’s life by reducing the reliance on paid support and ensuring their continued safety and increased independence through the use of assistive technology.


On Call Responder


To provide out of hours support to the individuals supported by the organisation and contribute to the efforts of Support Ordinary Living to fulfil its mission and purpose.

The role is a night shift based role and would require the post holder to react as and when required responding to-


·        Alarm activations

·        Personal Care Requests

·        Emergency Support

·        Safeguarding the individuals welfare and well being

·        Technical Support

·        Supports after a fall


The contracted hours for this role is 42 hours per week.


Most of the individuals SOL supports utilise technology to assist them with their day to day living. It is the role of the responders to ensure speedy, efficient and appropriate responses are carried out to all requests. The role can be fast paced and requires experienced individuals who can think on their feet.

The role also requires a level of IT and admin skills.


It is essential that the post holder is a driver with access to their own vehicle.
