VSO International is seeking a part-time, professional guard for our school. This individual will be responsible for providing a safe environment for students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
- Monitor and control access at all entrances and parking lots
- Monitor and control noise levels at all locations
- Responsible for monitoring surveillance cameras at all locations and reporting any incidents to the supervisor
- Responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness of premises at all times
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including regulation of chemicals in building
- Perform special cleaning or custodial tasks as requested by supervisor
- Follow procedures for fire, life safety, emergency operation and other operations
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Experience/Education/Licenses/Certifications/Certification Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license with no major violations within the past 3 years
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test, as well as a DOT physical exam
- Previous custodial experience in a school setting is a plus!
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £55,000.00-£55,001.00 per year
