Renfrewshire Council – proud recipient of Council of the Year – is seeking a forward-thinking Education Manager to lead our Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) services. What you’ll do
Reporting directly to the Head of Education, you’ll be at the forefront of strategic planning and service delivery for ELC across Renfrewshire. Your leadership will drive quality improvement, data-informed decision-making, and inclusive practice that enhances outcomes for our youngest learners.
You’ll collaborate across integrated children’s services and community planning partnerships, ensuring our ELC provision meets legislative standards and reflects the evolving needs of our families and communities.
What you’ll bring:
We’re seeking a dynamic leader with:
- A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Proven senior leadership experience in ELC or Primary Education
- A strong track record of managing teams and resources in complex organisations
- Deep knowledge of national ELC policy and legislation
- Demonstrated success in improving outcomes through inclusive, innovative practice
You’ll bring strategic insight, resilience, and the ability to inspire teams to deliver high-quality, child-centred services. Experience in implementing local and national initiatives is essential.
