Job Description

St Paul’s Girls’ School are seeking a Director of Safeguarding who will be the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). With assistance and support from the Deputy DSL team, they will take responsibility for all child protection matters arising at the school. They will have the ability to commit any necessary resources, and where appropriate, support and direct other staff to enable them to fulfil these duties.

They will have primary responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of all students in the school and have a strong visible presence.

The DSL will be line managed by the High Mistress or the Director of Pastoral Care depending on experience and will either be a part of the Senior Management Team or the Senior Leadership Team.
