The role of Designated Safeguarding Officer is pivotal in enabling us to ensure that each and every one of our students is safe and well supported, whatever challenges they face.

This role is designed to work within our Safeguarding Team to act as a central point of safeguarding and child protection related to support, advice and guidance for students, their parents and staff. The Designated Safeguarding Officer will support and promote safeguarding and child protection to further develop our culture of safeguarding.

We are seeking a confident, skilled and self motivated candidate who is dedicated to ensuring that every student is able to flourish, offers inspirational and caring guidance for students, their parents and staff, work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals, ask questions, is keen to learn and has a meticulous and consistent approach to record keeping and information sharing.

The role of Designated Safeguarding Officer, provides the space and design for a committed candidate to work within the Safeguarding Team to shape our outstanding pastoral provision.

Title: Designated Safeguarding Officer

Grade: School Scale Point 24-27 (actual salary £29,577 to £31,605 p.a.)

Post:   Term time only plus one week (specifically to include days at the end of August in advance of the school return) Full time, 36 hours per week.
