PH Sports & PH Camps are an award winning primary PE, school sport, physical activity and holiday camps provider working across Bristol, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset & Hampshire. At PH Sports we strive for excellence through the delivery of a high quality, engaging and exciting curriculum both in schools and on our holiday camps. We provide opportunities for children to engage in sport, STEM, arts and craft activities and other physically-demanding activities to build character and confidence. We are a team of enthusiastic PE Specialists, Wraparound Practitioners & Holiday Camp activity leaders that deliver, enjoyable, engaging and educational PE lessons & holiday camps and high quality wraparound childcare to schools throughout Bristol, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset & Hampshire.
The Role
This will look like 2hrs per day across the summer holidays ideally around 15.00 – 17.00 so that staff can refer any concerns on, however this is flexible and may require more or less hours dependent upon the support required. This role can be flexible and would be working from home.
Job Specification
We are looking for an experienced, organised and suitably qualified Safeguarding Lead to join our team. Initially this role will be part time across the Summer Holidays with the opportunity to work across all holiday periods or even to become a permanent position.
You will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and camp attendees through working with staff, reporting concerns, multi-agency working and related safeguarding administration. This tole will centre around the management and administration of our MyConcern software, including: Triage all concerns logged on MYConcern, assigning actions and alerting the relevant staff member and following up with staff to ensure these are actioned in a timely and appropriate fashion and referring concerns on where necessary.
PH Sports are dedicated to providing continuous personal development opportunities including (but definitely not limited to):
· Weekly 1-1 support meetings
· External training, workshops and resources related to the role
· £13.85 per hour (£15.52 including holiday pay)
· 24th July – 25th August
· Free sport & childcare places at PH Sports & PH Camps provision.
