Dementia Care Worker

The Mungo Foundation is a well-established charitable organisation, with over 40 years of experience supporting vulnerable individuals across Scotland. We employ over 700 staff, supporting approximately 1500 people a year, across a diverse array of services. Our services are tailored to the needs of each individual we work with and together we work hard to improve their quality of life.
Our Crannog Care Home based in the Drumchapel area of Glasgow provides specialised dementia care for older people (SRD) – 10 beds, care for older people with learning disabilities – 10 beds and care for adults with Alcohol Related Brain Damage (ARBD) – 10 beds.
We are looking to recruit a Dementia Care Worker to work within our Elrig Unit, who will be motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to effectively ensure they deliver safe, compassionate and high-quality care and support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering high-quality person- centred support plans, contributing to positive outcomes for the individuals we support.
Qualifications or experience are not essential. We offer excellent support, training and a salary of £9.50 per hour.
The successful candidate, if unqualified, must be willing to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory Requirements.
