SALARY:£31,133 per year

ABOUT THE JOB

The purpose of this role is to provide strategic support to the Communications and Engagement Specialist to meet agreed aims, objectives, and priorities for Forensic Services SPA.

To support the development and co-ordination of internal and external communications to help maintain and promote the reputation of the Forensic Services SPA.

To develop and take the lead on agreed strategies to provide comprehensive communications and engagement services to Forensic Services SPA staff, and other key stakeholders including Police Scotland, COPFS, PIRC, the Scottish Government as well other stakeholders and business partners.

To support the evaluation and detailed analysis of communications and relationship activities to assess impact and effect.

ABOUT YOU

You will be educated to Degree level of equivalent qualification in a specific discipline OR in the absence of formal qualifications, relevant communications working experience is require to support familiarisation and on the job training for the role.

You will have worked in a communications and/or engagement role.

You will also have experience in writing and drafting documents.

This full time post is permanent and is subject to standard recruitment vetting

You will work 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
