We’re looking for an experienced children and young people’s counsellor/therapist to join our team.
You must have recognised professional qualifications, membership of BACP/BAPT, portable Enhanced DBS, registered with ICO and have professional indemnity insurance.
To provide one to one therapy to Children and Young people who have experienced rape and/or sexual abuse or exploitation, meeting any agreed contractual key performance indicators. Using a creative therapeutic approach of talking/play/art/sand therapy.
To facilitate parent consultation sessions providing support, education and understanding of the impact of trauma experienced by their child
Work within policies and procedures in relation to safeguarding and protection of vulnerable adults, children, and young people. Ensuring the escalation of concerns or issues that might arise in the course of our work.
To use administrative and case management systems in a timely way, accurately and effectively ensuring good practice with regard to any sensitive, confidential material.
