Children and Youth Development Worker

Quaker Life: Youth, Children and Families Team

Salary: £37,747 per annum (London scale)

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: 35 hours per week

Location: Based in Friends House, and working across Greater London

Quakers in Britain is looking for a development worker to initiate, facilitate and deliver a range of opportunities for children, young people and families in Greater London. Could you get alongside children and young people to build community effectively? Could you promote participation with different age groups, and empower Quaker communities to engage with and respond more readily with younger people?

Are you organised, with the ability to plan, deliver and monitor work with different children, young people and wider community groups? Can you build positive relationships and communicate effectively with young people, colleagues and stakeholders?
