About the role
Sense has a great opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team as a Children and Family Support Worker, working with families at our centre in Woodside, Bristol. This is a part time vacancy, working 22.5 hours per week.
The successful candidate will provide a professional, coordinated model of support to children and young people who are deafblind and their families. This will involve working with colleagues to offer a range of accessible events and activities, as well as family support on an individual basis.

A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is an essential requirement for this role.

Key skills and experience
-Experience of working with disabled children or young people, including those with sensory impairments, is essential.

-You should hold a diploma in Childcare and Education, NNEB or equivalent Level 3 qualification. A sound knowledge of child protection processes is also required, as well as the skills necessary to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

-You should also have strong IT and administrative skills to support yourself in this role.
