An opportunity for a full-time position as Child Exploitation Coordinator has arisen within the Exploitation and Missing Team based in the Melksham Police Station, Wiltshire.
The successful applicant will work as part of a small team alongside police colleagues and partner agencies. The key aim of the role is to act as a central point of contact for Wiltshire Police, to co-ordinate and share information regarding child exploitation, research and develop information to support criminal and multi-agency child exploitation prevention and disruption activity and provide support and guidance around safeguarding children identified as being either at risk or victims of child exploitation.
The successful applicant will have the ability to problem solve effectively, be flexible in their approach to work and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skill. The successful applicant will have experience of working within a multi-agency environment, good keyboard skills and a high level of computer literacy is essential.
