Assistant to the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

Job description

 

 

The Assistant to the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) has responsibility to work with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), the Assistant Headteacher Inclusion and the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (ADDSL) undertaking the activities of the Deputy Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for all child protection issues within Easthampstead Park Community School. The role and responsibilities associated are detailed in the Job description.

 

Term time including Inset Days plus 6 days’ equivalent (44.5 hours). (The additional hours are in support of attending social services meetings during holiday time which cannot be set).

Pre–employment medical check

References

At least one must be from your current employer, completed by a suitable person with appropriate authority. If you have previously worked with children at least one must be from this employer. References will not be accepted from relatives or people writing solely in the capacity of friends. We take up references for all shortlisted candidates and wherever possible we like to apply for these prior to interview.
