We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Assistant Head (Pastoral) to join the Senior Leadership Team. This is a rare opportunity for an exceptional individual to lead on the development and delivery of our pastoral programme including safeguarding, and to make an active contribution to whole school strategy and operations for the long-term success of our school.
The Assistant Head (Pastoral) leads a team of Heads of Year, two nurses, counsellor and Head of Personal Development (PSHE) and is the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) coordinating the support of the Junior School DSL and Deputy DSL. The successful candidate will lead and develop colleagues and continue to inspire this happy, successful and award-winning school to build on its many achievements.
Located in a cosmopolitan urban setting but drawing equal numbers of pupils from the attractive and established suburbs of West Yorkshire and the lower Dales, the School is a flagship for progressive, independent education.
