How do we genuinely embed children’s voices into safeguarding practice, not as a compliance task, but as a foundation for protection, trust and safer cultures?

Join DSL Christine Kane and Digital Safeguarding Lead Amy Adderley in a practical webinar exploring how to centre youth voice safely, ethically and meaningfully. They will share their amazing youth well-being ambassador programme that will unpack what children and young people are telling us, how to create psychologically safe spaces for disclosure, and how organisations can shift from tokenistic engagement to approaches that genuinely influence decisions, policies and safeguarding culture.

This session is ideal for:
Safeguarding leads, DSLs/DDSLs, education professionals, youth workers, social care staff, charity/NGO leaders, and anyone responsible for child protection.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to create safe spaces for children to express concerns
  • Practical ways to engage children and young people safely
  • How Heads of Schools can encourage authentic participation of children
  • Tools for embedding youth participation at organisational and frontline levels
  • How authentic youth voice strengthens safeguarding outcomes for individuals, organisations and communities

Empower the young people you serve. Strengthen your safeguarding approach. Build safer cultures where children are heard, believed and protected.
