Webinar: supervision – safeguarding the protectors

A focus on supervision and the benefits this can bring to developing and maintaining a safe and child-centred culture. Topics will include one-to-one and group supervision and shared good practice, including the need for contracts, agendas, recording and actions.

This webinar is a must for anyone responsible for safeguarding including police, healthcare, education, social care and charities/organisation working with children and vulnerable adults. If you are unable to watch the webinar live, recordings will be available following the event.

Webinar host: Peter Lewer, Training & Development Manager, Education Safeguarding Service

Peter Lewer (BA Hons, MSc, MA, ADIPSW, KAPT, DipCouns, DipSFT, PGSEN) is an experienced Training and Development Manager with a demonstrated history of working in education management.

Peter is skilled in safeguarding, public speaking, therapeutic and parenting interventions, social work, counselling and solution-focused practice. He is a registered expert for the Department for Education and is the Education representative on the Canterbury Cathedral Safeguarding Management Board. Peter’s specialist interest is in behaviour management and the impact of buildings, grounds and signage on behaviour.
