Course outline:
Organisations who employ individuals or have volunteers who carry out regulated activity with children or adults have a legal duty to refer to DBS if certain conditions are met. This webinar is designed to support organisations to understand when the legal duty to refer to DBS is met and when a barring referral should be made.

- Understand the three different referral routes
- Understand when a DBS Barring referral should be made, including when the legal duty is met
- Understand what Regulated Activity is
- Have a clear understanding of the consequences of not making appropriate barring referrals and the consequences of being included in one or both Barred Lists
