We are looking to recruit a Safeguarding & Attendance Officer from the 1st December 2021, who is highly organised, motivated and committed to the success of the Academy.  The successful candidate will have experience of working in a safeguarding role, and a sound understanding of statutory policies regarding the safeguarding of children and young people and attendance.

We are looking for someone who:

  • has good communication skills;
  • a sound understanding of statutory policies
  • has the skills to work collaboratively with external agencies
  • can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents;
  • can work with families to improve pupils’ attendance and engagement in education;
  • a commitment to developing their own skills.
