BSA Group team

A team of 22, our staff work remotely, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised team player to support the work of the BSA Group and strengthen our customer-focused, business-minded, dynamic, ambitious team.

This role is remote so can be located anywhere mainland UK provided the post holder is willing to travel for meetings, conferences or to see customers, as required and has the right to work in the UK. Out-of-hours work will be required from time to time. We put life and family at the heart of what we do and as such, flexible working requests, will be considered, however please note this role requires core hours as the post-holder will be supporting on CPD and events.

Working at BSA Group

A competitive salary of £24,000 – £26,000 per annum, depending on experience is offered for this role.

Post:                           Business Support Executive

Responsible to:        Business Support Manager

BSA Group is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Business Support Executive to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a self-starter with a passion for customer service and a desire to build a career in a professional and dynamic environment. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of the BSA Group’s SPS (Specialist Services) team, providing essential support that spans the entire organisation.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable individual with a “can-do” attitude who is eager to take ownership of their work, learn new skills, and contribute significantly to our supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

As the Business Support Executive, you will provide comprehensive administrative and member support, playing a crucial role in the successful delivery of our services. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Administration, membership and digital CPD support
    • Administration and membership support: first line support for members across the group including email, telephone and web support.
    • Contribute to service delivery: actively support the planning, coordination, and delivery of all BSA Group’s CPD services.
    • Executive administration and support: work closely with the Business Support Manager and SPS team to ensure seamless execution of business functions.
    • Budget management: assist in co-managing and tracking budgets for digital professional development initiatives.
    • Data management: support the management of member and event data.
  • Team and Executive Assistance:
    • Providing a wide range of administrative support across the BSA Group and specifically to the SPS team, including assisting with the coordination and delivery of events and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) sessions.
    • Supporting the wider BSA Group with the delivery of services as required, including the CEO and DCEO/COO as needed.
    • Will also include working with the BEDS (Boarding Education) and BSAG Legal team assisting with enquiries, administration and CPD support.
  • Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Support BSAG in all its work internally and externally as a member of staff.
    • Support BSAG in service and budget delivery.
    • Deliver against agreed annual group and personal targets.
    • Support other work and duties as required.

BSA Group Legal is a SRA registered law firm offering immigration legal support to BSA member schools and their students. BSA Group Legal offers a full-spectrum immigration support service including: CAS support; policy, record-keeping and reporting support; BCA and CAS allocation guidance; mock UKVI audits; agent/guardian checks; due diligence checks to assess financial and pupil eligibility; bespoke immigration training and advice; individual student and family visa application support; Home Office escalation support including replacement BRPs, delayed application decisions, ISI compliance issues, CAS reinstatement and visa refusals.

The Heath in Education Association (HIEDA) launched in July 2021 and has 132 members with a mission is to champion health in education excellence. Hieda provides training and education on a wide variety of medical issues, delivered by healthcare professionals who are experts in their field.

SACPA: Safeguarding and Child Protection Association
The Safeguarding and Child Protection Association (SACPA) champions excellence in safeguarding and child protection and has 480 members in 29 countries. Sacpa is the voice of safeguarding, providing a channel to government and other key agencies.
