Based in the Accessibility and Inclusion Service you will work full time 35 hours per week on a temporary basis until 1 April 2022.

Requirements
You will be GTCS Registered, have knowledge of relevant curriculum areas and an awareness of the main current issues in Scottish Education. You will have teaching experience in early years, primary or secondary.
Responsibilities
To work as part of a team in building the capacity of staff in nurseries/schools in teaching and learning approaches and providing appropriate support to children and young people (0-18) who have additional support needs (ASN), with responsibility for those with Autism and Social Communication needs.
The Individual
You will have knowledge of relevant curriculum areas and awareness of main, current issues in Scottish Education. In addition you will have a positive and caring approach and commitment to young people, have good communication/interpersonal skills and relate well to others.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
