Role Overview
As Student Wellbeing and Conduct Manager, you will be responsible for supporting student development, behaviour, attitudes, attendance and safeguarding in a designated Key Stage. Liaising with the Senior Leadership Team, teachers and support staff, and external agencies and parents, you will assist teachers in dealing with students exhibiting poor behaviour and implement strategies to help with behaviour, bullying and poor attendance, as well as supporting parental engagement.
This is a full-time, fixed-term role for one year (term time only).
Experience
To be successful in this role, you’ll have an administration/NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant skill or equivalent. You will also have:
- Experience teaching or supervising classes or groups of children and/or young people
- A proven ability to build effective, respectful relationships with young people and their families
- Knowledge and understanding of management, administration and planning
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of child protection procedures, safeguarding issues and the SEN code of practice
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
