An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced practitioner to join the Integrated Safeguarding Services.
The role will provide efficient, visible and effective adult Safeguarding Services. Ensuring service users and staff have access to, and receive, timely and high quality information, advice and signposting in relation to safeguarding concerns.
The post includes liaising with front line staff to receive, manage and respond to safeguarding concerns in line with Trust policy and procedures, recognised best practice and legal frameworks. Working closely with staff and managers to address any safeguarding concerns and issues in a timely and efficient way to achieve the best possible outcome.
Central to the role is ensuring effective communication between health care, statutory and voluntary services, and ensuring that safeguarding is made personal for the adults involved.
The post holder will:
- The post holder will be responsible for supporting Adult Safeguarding processes for adult mental health
- The post holder will be based in the specialty of Safeguarding working as part of the Integrated Safeguarding Service
- The post holder will provide line management and deputize for senior colleagues
- The post holder will be an experienced practitioner
- The post holder will work under the supervision of the adult and child safeguarding leads
