REED Education are delighted to represent a specialist residential school in Dumfries and Galloway who are looking to recruit a full-time Maths and ICT Teacher for children with autism and social, emotional and mental health needs. The position is for an immediate start with the view to become permanent for the right person.

You will be joining a staffing team who adopt a child-centred and therapeutic approach to learning, supporting individuals, many of whom have complex mental health needs. The school is situated in a rural setting, with strong links to the local community and exciting plans to expand.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Maths and ICT up to and including National 4, though teachers with either subject specialism will be considered. SEND experience with ASC and SEMH is highly advantageous, though applicants from mainstream teachers seeking a fresh challenge will be considered. GTCS and PVS registration is essential for this role.
