Job Description

Croydon College promotes a positive, student focussed and supportive culture, and you will play a key role in helping us achieve this.

In this role you will be based onsite at our Croydon Campus, providing students with advice and support on personal and welfare related issues. You will be part of a dedicated team providing a day-to-day response to safeguarding and wellbeing concerns and referrals, and will be responsible for an identified caseload of students for ongoing targeted support. You will be a point of contact for external agencies working with identified vulnerable students, attending and contributing to statutory meetings on and off-site, and will be working in partnership with services such as Children/Adult Services, CAMHS, Police and Voluntary/Community sectors.

Experienced in delivering frontline support service to vulnerable young people and with a thorough knowledge of current safeguarding practice and legislation, you will use your skills and knowledge to identify strategies and interventions and build these into a support plan to achieve positive outcomes.

You would be joining a motivated and experienced student focussed team who are collaborative and proactive in their approach to supporting students to overcome barriers and achieve their potential.
