About the role
This is a fast paced and dynamic environment with a wide range of student issues to deal with and a diverse student body that needs our support.
You will mainly be working with our most Vulnerable students, who may need more support than others, to both come to college in the first place, stay in college and achieve here.
Safeguarding our students is of paramount importance to us and you will expected to be heavily involved in dealing with safeguarding and welfare situations at an appropriate level and have a good level of resilience.

The successful candidate will hold: 

  • An appropriate Level 3 qualification.
  • Experience of working with and supporting vulnerable young people and dealing with difficult and sensitive issues.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and the Prevent duty and a commitment to creating a safe learning environment.
