Safeguarding Trainer

About the role…

At Humankind it is our aim to create an environment where everyone thrives. We are seeking to recruit a Safeguarding Trainer to support the delivery of consistent and engaging learning interventions across our business. You will ensure that all of Humankind’s employees understand safeguarding, and relevant processes. This role is part of a new innovation in the company, and you will work closely with a newly appointed Safeguarding Training and Development Manager.

Responsibilities Include

  • Designing and delivering learning and development interventions, in line with a trauma informed approach
  • Producing standardised training materials and documentation to support training programmes
  • Work as an integral part of the L&D team, attending meetings to discuss progress against our L&D strategy and business objectives
  • Implementing evaluation mechanisms, and work with the Safeguarding Training and Development Manager to improve the quality and content of the training in line with the feedback.

This is a hybrid role with some travel required to deliver training in person and meetings at head office in Bowburn – a driving licence and access to a car is required for the role.

Interviews for this role are expected to take place in 2 stages with the first stage interview being on the 18th January 2023 and second stage on the 25th January 2023 – the interviews will be held via Teams.

About you…

We are looking for someone with a proven track record in designing and delivering effective training workshops, and experience of contributing to the development of a positive safeguarding culture. You will have strong, practical experience of safeguarding, and delivering training.

This role may appeal to those from either a health and social care or social work background.
