Will you be our next Safeguarding Support Officer?

  • Responsible to: Safeguarding Support Team Coordinator
  • Department: Safe Scouting
  • Base Location: Gilwell Park, Chingford, London (with remote working)
  • Term: 1 x permanent contract and 1 x ten month fixed-term contract
  • Salary: £27,396 per annum (pro rata), Band D, Level 3, inclusive of Outer London Weighting
  • Hours: 35 hours per week

We’re recruiting two Safeguarding Support Officers.

As a Safeguarding Support Officer, you’ll need to be self-confident and resilient to deal with challenging and emotional situations and have an understanding of statutory agencies, disclosure authorities in relation to vulnerable groups, children and vulnerable adults.

Your role will provide internal support and advice on behalf of the Safeguarding Officers, Duty team and implement a robust vetting advisory support service to the Association and their volunteers.
