We have an exciting opportunity to expand our Student Experience team with an additional Safeguarding Officer within the department. The successful candidate needs to have a good understanding of Safeguarding, be passionate about supporting learners, be confident and professional in keeping information confidential. Good time management skills and attention to detail are essential attributes for this role.

The key roles would be to provide a day-to-day response to safeguarding and wellbeing concerns to ensure learners are safe and secure, be proactive in safeguarding learners on campus and providing resources and learning via workshops and online tools to keep them safe on and off campus. You will work across our student body including further education, apprenticeships, and higher education to raise awareness of current themes including Prevent, County lines, CSE and domestic violence. You will ensure Safeguarding concerns are responded to in a timely manner and escalated as appropriate as well as other key areas set out in the job description.

This role is offered as a full time or substantial part time post, all year round.
